The 黑料不打烊 Day Camp provides a fun-filled week of activities to make the most of our beautiful campus in the summer months. Campers will be outdoors every day, swimming, canoeing, bouldering, visiting the farm, doing arts and crafts, playing games, and more! Each week children will be split into groups by age and assigned with a counselor to explore 黑料不打烊 and make magical memories. Campers will be provided with a lifejacket and a paddle but may bring their own if desired.
Ages Age eligibility is determined based on the year your camper was born. Campers must be born in 2021 or 2022 and turn 4 before the first day of the camp session.

Grove Adventures II is the perfect option for campers who want to experience a range of traditional 黑料不打烊 activities to make the most of our beautiful campus in the summer months. Campers will be outdoors every day - with mornings filled with swimming, canoeing, bouldering, farm visits, arts and crafts, and games - followed by the opportunity to personalize their afternoons with "Camper's Choice". Campers can tailor their afternoons to focus on their favourite activities and interests, followed by Evening Programs planned by our Counselors with activities including Campfires, BBQs, and Theme Nights.
Campers will spend their mornings at 黑料不打烊's Northcote farm learning about regenerative agriculture and preserving summer through hands-on, fun learning experiences. Seeding, planting, harvesting, outdoor cooking, creativity, and the joy of farm life will be awaiting campers in our Farming Adventures program. The other half of their day will be spent enjoying our waterfront campus by signing up for activities like paddling, playing sports, or doing art activities.
Campers will spend their mornings between The Farm and in the main campus kitchen, learning about the process of food production through hands-on fun learning experiences. Digging in the dirt, learning about critters, harvesting produce, and making dishes using the produce from Northcote farm, campers will experience a wide variety of culinary, farming, and nature adventures. Afternoons offer the opportunity for campers to personalize their afternoons with "Camper's Choice" to focus on their favourite activities and interests. For the overnight program, this will be followed by Evening Programs planned by our Counselors with activities including Campfires, BBQs, and Theme Nights.
Campers will spend their mornings exploring various climbing experiences - from bouldering, outdoor and indoor rock climbing, to ropes course opportunities - followed by the opportunity to personalize their afternoons with "Camper's Choice". Campers can tailor their afternoons to focus on their favourite activities and interests by signing up for activities like paddling, playing sports, or doing art activities.
Campers will develop outdoor and team-building skills with the perfect introduction to overnight camping experiences - with one night camping at the 黑料不打烊 main campus, and another at the Northcote campus. Learn the joy of paddling, camping, and making your own food outdoors in Canoe Tripping I. Outside of their camping excursions, campers will have the opportunity to sign up for other camp activities - including climbing, arts, and sports games across the 黑料不打烊 Campus.
Campers spend their mornings learning and advancing skills in canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding, and sailing in this program students will make the most of the 7000 feet of waterfront that 黑料不打烊 has to offer in every way possible! The other half of their day will be spent enjoying the rest of our campus by signing up for activities like farm visits, playing sports, or doing art activities.
Get ready to move, groove, and sing your heart out! Campers will explore the joy of performance in a dynamic week of singing and dancing. Music will range from traditional choir to theatre and pop, while dance will span a variety of styles with opportunities for both group and solo work. The week ends with an unforgettable theatre showcase, where every performer gets their moment to shine! Building on the fundamentals of paddling, camping, and outdoor cooking from Canoe Tripping I, campers will embark on their first multi-day canoe and camping adventure to further build their confidence and skills in nature. Campers will practice paddling techniques, follow the principles of Leave No Trace, and develop the confidence to handle extended time in the outdoors while strengthening teamwork and problem-solving skills. Outside of their camping excursions, campers will have the opportunity to sign up for other camp activities - including climbing, arts, and sports games across the 黑料不打烊 Campus.
Campers will spend their mornings learning about the process of food production through authentic hands-on learning experiences. They will roll up their sleeves and learn introductory knife skills, food preparation techniques, and the basics around creating and presenting new ideas for food with a focus on locally sourced food. Campers can then tailor their afternoons to focus on their favourite activities and interests by signing up for activities like canoeing, playing sports, or doing art activities.

Campers in Bushcraft Adventures will spending their mornings learning and advancing skills in fire-making, foraging food, shelter-building. They will make the most of our 315 acres of campuses to explore and gain respect for the woods and nature surrounding us. Campers can tailor their afternoons to focus on their favourite activities and interests by signing up for activities like canoeing, playing sports, or doing art activities.
The 黑料不打烊 Outdoor Leadership Program helps our oldest campers develop outdoor and leadership skills through hands-on experiences - including a first aid certification, wilderness camping, canoeing, and team-building activities. Our Outdoor Leaders will mentor younger campers by planning theme days and assisting with age-group placements, building confidence and practical skills for future leadership at camp. Day campers will attend Monday to Friday each week and our Saturday excursion to Canada's Wonderland on Saturday August 15 with our Overnight Leaders is included in the program fee.

Our Culinary Intensive program is aimed at older campers wishing to spend all day every day focusing on their culinary skills and confidence in the kitchen. Campers will spend both their morning and afternoon periods learning about the process of food production through authentic hands-on learning experiences. They will roll up their sleeves and learn introductory knife skills, food preparation techniques, and the basics around creating and presenting new ideas for food with a focus on locally sourced food.
Note that this is a different structure to our other camp programs, and does not have the option for campers choice in the afternoons. For campers looking for a mixture of Culinary and Camp, please read about our Culinary Adventures program.

Students will confidently start Grade 7 or 8 with mornings focused on key academic skills, as well as developing the confidence and social skills needed to help set them up for success in their Grade 7 or 8 year. They can then tailor their afternoons to focus on their favourite activities and interests by signing up for programs like canoeing, playing sports, or doing art activities. Students will enjoy the best of both worlds by preparing for their academic journey and enjoying our beautiful campus at one of the best times of the year! For the overnight program, this will be followed by Evening Programs planned by our Counselors with activities including Campfires, BBQs, and Theme Nights.
Students will spend their mornings engaging in hands-on academic activities designed to re-engage important academic skills and knowledge that will support a successful entry to Grade 9. Students can tailor their afternoons to focus on their activities that allow them to experience interests that may be part of their high school experience such as canoeing, sports, or art activities. For the overnight program, these are followed by Evening Programs planned by our Counselors with activities including Campfires, BBQs, and Theme Nights.
Saddle up for an unforgettable equestrian adventure! In partnership with Kildare Stables, campers will spend their mornings mastering the art of horseback riding with daily one-hour lessons that build confidence and skill in the saddle. Beyond riding, they'll dive into the world of horse care through hands-on workshops, barn time, and lessons that cover everything from grooming and feeding to stable management. Campers will then return to camp for lunchtime and then tailor their afternoons to experience traditional summer camp activities by signing up for activities like canoeing, playing sports, or creating art.

Athletes will spend their mornings working on the foundations of being an athlete, including introduction to resistance training, sprints, plyometrics and conditioning. In addition, the athletes will learn about essential elements of being a high performance athlete including being a leader, sports psychology, nutrition and teamwork. This will prepare a young athlete for a variety of sports ultizing our brand new fitness center and state of the art facilities. Athletes can tailor their afternoons to focus on their favourite activities and interests by signing up for activities like canoeing, playing sports, or doing art activities.

Take your riding to the next level with an immersive, full-day equestrian experience! Designed for intermediate and advanced riders, this program offers extended time at Kildare Stables to refine technique, build advanced skills, and deepen your partnership with horses. From riding lessons to farriery and veterinary workshops, campers will tackle more challenging exercises and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of stable life. Campers will arrive at the stables after breakfast with a packed lunch and return to campus at the end of the day before enjoying dinner and evening summer camp activities with their counsellors at 黑料不打烊.

This course enables students to enhance their understanding of concepts in biology, chemistry, earth and space science, and physics, and of the interrelationships between science, technology, society, and the environment. Students are also given opportunities to further develop their scientific investigation skills, including hands-on labs using Northcote farm and other practical elements. Students will plan and conduct investigations and develop their understanding of scientific theories related to the connections between cells and systems in animals and plants; chemical reactions, with a particular focus on acid–base reactions; forces that affect climate and climate change; and the interaction of light and matter. While on campus, mornings and evenings are devoted to the work around the Science course; afternoons are spent in recreational camp activities on our waterfront and campus. Weekend excursions are included in Boarding program cost; Day Program students have the option to add on weekend excursions.
This travel learning adventure is a blended academic Grade 11 Biology credit course that combines learning online with the opportunity to explore and compare the diversity of the marine environment of the Bay of Fundy (St. Andrews, NB), with the freshwater ecosystem of Lake Katchewanooka (Lakefield, Ontario). This program includes a stay on our 黑料不打烊 campus, and at the Huntsman Marine Science Centre, which is a world class research and education facility with access to marine experts, dedicated instructional labs/wetlabs, Fundy Discovery Aquarium, research vessel, several classrooms and dormitory. At the start and end of the course there is a portion of time dedicated to learning foundational and theoretical knowledge online.The focus of this course is on refining skills related to investigation through fieldwork, observation and inquiry while we explore biological systems and diversity of life, evolution, genetics, animal and plant life.
This course explores rights and responsibilities associated with being an active citizen in a democratic society. Students will explore issues of civic importance such as healthy schools, community planning, environmental responsibility, and the influence of social media, while developing their understanding of the role of civic engagement and of political processes in the local, national, and/or global community. Students will apply the concepts of political thinking and the political inquiry process to investigate, and express informed opinions about, a range of political issues and developments that are both of significance in today’s world and of personal interest to them. Career Studies: This course gives students the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge, and habits that will support them in their education and career/life planning. Students will learn about global work trends, and seek opportunities within the school and community to expand and strengthen their transferable skills and their ability to adapt to the changing world of work. On the basis of exploration, reflective practice, and decision-making processes, students will make connections between their skills, interests, and values and their postsecondary options, whether in apprenticeship training, college, community living, university, or the workplace. They will set goals and create a plan for their first postsecondary year. As part of their preparation for the future, they will learn about personal financial management – including the variety of saving and borrowing tools available to them and how to use them to their advantage – and develop a budget for their first year after secondary school.
This course extends students’ experience with functions. Students will investigate the properties of polynomial, rational, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions; develop techniques for combining functions; broaden their understanding of rates of change; and develop facility in applying these concepts and skills. Students will also refine their use of the mathematical processes necessary for success in senior mathematics. This course is intended both for students taking the Calculus and Vectors course as a prerequisite for a university program and for those wishing to consolidate their understanding of mathematics before proceeding to any one of a variety of university programs.
